Set each member's destination tier and access end date in the same CSV.
Use MembershipTier or MembershipTierId to choose a destination per row, and EndDate for an eligible member's individual access expiry. Blank tier columns use the selected default tier. End dates cannot override a current Shopify subscription. Review the import results for any rows that need correction.
Sync the effective membership end date to your connected email platform.
Use the memberply_membership_expires_at property to build your own date-based reminder flows. The date follows supported membership expiries and extensions, and is cleared when appropriate. Connecting the integration does not create or enable reminder flows for you.
Change a member's membership while keeping their customer record and membership number.
Choose Change membership from the member's details. Depending on the destination, you can move them to a free tier, invite them to buy a paid membership, or use the available immediate-change option. Review the confirmation carefully: cancellation, access and payment deadlines depend on the option selected. Sending an invitation alone does not charge the member.
View eligible spend and the amount remaining to reach the next member level.
Member details now make spend-tier progress easier to understand. Shopify store-credit payments are excluded from newly recorded qualifying spend, so the progress reflects eligible spending after the configured rules. Existing historical totals are not automatically recalculated.
Choose whether to send payment setup emails when importing eligible recurring memberships.
Enable Send payment setup email when your imported members are ready to move their payments to Shopify. It is off by default and applies to eligible new or reactivated memberships without a current Shopify subscription. Completing checkout may charge immediately, so review the timing before enabling it.
Import existing membership numbers, phone numbers and addresses with your member CSV.
Use the supported CSV columns to carry member references and contact details into Memberply. Membership numbers preserve leading zeros and help match existing members safely. Review the matching rules and import results before retrying any rejected rows.
Duplicate an existing application form when creating a similar membership program.
Use the duplicate action in Application Forms to start from an existing form, then review the new program's details and fields. Email branding and customised email templates are not copied, so configure those separately for the new form.
Schedule a period when customers can buy an application-linked paid membership without waiting for approval.
Set Scheduled open enrollment dates on a published application form. The window uses your store's timezone and the same membership tier and pricing. Outside that period, the normal approval requirement applies again. Rejoin cooldowns still apply.
Use membership status and tier information in Omnisend segments and messages.
Open Integrations > Omnisend to connect your account. Future membership changes update contact properties for your segmentation and messaging. Connecting Memberply does not subscribe customers to marketing or change existing consent.
Choose lifetime spend as an alternative to calendar-year qualification for spend-tiered benefits.
Open Spend Tiered Discounts and choose the qualification period that suits your program. Lifetime spend does not reset each January. Review the options for counting eligible spending before joining and handling refunds; historical order access can limit backfilling.
Run referrals for a friend's first purchase, even when they are not joining your membership.
Choose Friend's first store purchase as your referral goal and enable the Referral tracking app embed. Qualifying rewards wait through a 14-day review period. The friend does not receive a discount, and later orders do not earn another referral reward.
Offer an optional one-month pause that moves the next payment and pauses membership benefits.
Enable monthly pauses in the tier's Pricing settings. Eligible monthly subscribers can pause from their member area. Benefits continue through the current paid period, then pause until the next successful payment. Existing Shopify store credit remains available. The option is off by default.
Set an expiry period for eligible Shopify store-credit benefits.
Choose days, months, years or No Expiry in the benefit's credit settings. The period starts when each new credit grant is issued. Updating the setting does not change credit already issued to members.
Correct applicant details, receive submission notifications and recover interrupted approvals.
The application review tools let your team correct supported details before approval and review the status of an interrupted approval. You can also enable new-application notifications to your store contact email. Check the application history before using the available recovery controls.
Configure a cooldown for customers returning to the same membership tier.
Enter a Rejoin cooldown under the tier's Membership rules. The waiting period begins when membership access ends. Set it to zero when customers should be able to rejoin immediately.
Add Shopify customer tags when a membership cancellation takes effect.
Set Cancellation customer tags under the tier's Membership rules. Use them in your customer segments or Shopify workflows to identify former members and organise your follow-up activity.
Give eligible members their own end date instead of relying only on the tier duration.
Open a member's details to update their access expiry where this option is available. It is useful for individual extensions and fixed-duration access. Current Shopify subscriptions use their billing and cancellation dates instead, so those require the subscription controls.
Create a single member directly from the Members area.
Use Add a member when you need to add one person to your program. Choose their membership tier and enter their details without preparing a CSV. Review the welcome and payment options before saving; adding a member does not by itself create a paid Shopify subscription.
Create application forms and approve access to free or paid membership tiers.
Use Membership Applications to collect the information you need for trade accounts, professional programs or other vetted memberships. Review submissions, request more information and approve or reject applicants. Approved paid applicants complete their membership purchase before paid benefits activate.
Give eligible members a personal referral link and reward successful membership referrals.
Open Member Referrals under Grow, choose participating tiers and set a points or store-credit reward. For membership referrals, choose whether the reward follows activation or the friend's first successful membership payment. Members can find their referral link in their member area.
