Custom Shopify membership & loyalty programs
Build around the way your business works. Bring your member experience, integration and migration requirements to Memberply, and we will shape a practical implementation plan together.
Growth includes all standard features. Enterprise development and ongoing support are scoped and quoted separately.

When does a custom membership project make sense?
Start with the program you want to run. Many stores can launch with standard Memberply features. Custom implementation becomes useful when an existing system, a specific member journey or a migration needs additional work.
An established program moving to Shopify
Plan how member records, access dates and benefits will move before changing the customer experience. Identify what can be imported and which billing steps members may need to complete.
Membership data in other business systems
Agree which system owns each record and which membership events need to reach your CRM or internal tools. Start with existing integrations, then assess the gaps.
A tailored member experience
Organise balances, benefits and membership information around your program. Review custom layouts against Shopify’s customer account constraints before implementation.
A more involved launch
Coordinate requirements, configuration, testing and handover with your team. Define who owns each task and the support you need after launch.
Start with Memberply’s existing capabilities
The Growth Plan includes the standard building blocks below. A custom project adds agreed implementation work around them.
Memberships and member benefits
Create free or paid tiers with discounts, free shipping, exclusive access, rewards and store credit. Explore member benefits.
Customer accounts and store credit
Give members a place to view eligible benefits and available credit. Explore the member portal and store credit.
Existing integrations
Use Shopify POS, Klaviyo, Omnisend and outbound membership webhooks where they fit your workflow. See integrations.
Applications and approvals
Review trade or professional applicants before activating membership access or inviting approved customers to pay. Explore membership applications.
Example projects we can scope with you
These are illustrative project briefs, not completed customer implementations or promises of included functionality.
A paid member club with a credit dashboard
A specialty retailer wants members to see their credit balance, tier and recent activity together. We would confirm the balance source, transaction data and native account layout, then quote any additional dashboard work.
A Shopify Plus loyalty program connected to a CRM
A retailer wants membership changes reflected in an existing customer system. We would map the required events and fields, check API access and agree how updates, failures and testing will be handled. Shopify Plus alone does not remove customer account styling limits.
From requirements to launch
1. Share the program and systems
Tell us about your store, member offer, current platform, integrations, design references and target launch. Describe the customer outcome you need.
2. Confirm fit and scope
We identify what standard Memberply features already cover, what requires custom work and any dependencies. Deliverables, pricing and acceptance criteria are agreed before implementation.
3. Build and review
Review the agreed implementation with your team. Test member access, benefits, data flows and the relevant Shopify customer journeys before launch.
4. Launch and agree ongoing care
Coordinate deployment and handover. Set out any ongoing maintenance and support separately, including how future changes will be estimated and approved.
What we confirm before committing to a project
- Customer account design: Shopify controls the supported components and styling. We assess the proposed experience within those limits. Read Shopify’s component constraints.
- Integration access: third-party APIs, permissions, available fields and service charges must be checked. Existing webhooks are not a general-purpose public API.
- Migration and billing: importing members does not automatically transfer payment credentials or subscription contracts. We agree on customer steps, timing and validation first.
- Service requirements: security reviews, performance requirements, support coverage and response commitments must be discussed explicitly. They are not implied by the Enterprise label.

Questions about enterprise membership projects
What is a custom Shopify membership program?
It combines a membership offer, such as paid access, member pricing or store credit, with implementation tailored to a store’s systems and customer journey. Memberply provides the standard membership features; additional development is assessed and quoted for the agreed project.
Do I need Enterprise to use Memberply’s features?
No. Growth includes all standard Memberply features for US$49/month with a 14-day free trial and no Memberply transaction fees. Enterprise is for separately scoped implementation, custom development and ongoing support.
Can you help with a Shopify Plus loyalty program?
Yes. We can review a Shopify Plus store’s membership and loyalty requirements, including benefits, customer accounts and integrations. The proposal will distinguish standard Memberply features from custom work and confirm any Shopify plan or platform limitations.
Can my customer account page match any design?
Shopify customer accounts use Shopify’s supported components and branding controls. A tailored layout may be possible, but an exact reproduction of an unrestricted website design cannot be promised. We review the design before agreeing on the scope.
Can you connect Memberply to our CRM or other systems?
Memberply already supports Klaviyo, Omnisend and outbound membership webhooks. Other integrations require a review of the systems, available APIs, permissions and data flows. A custom connection is agreed as a project rather than assumed to be included.
Can you migrate an existing membership program?
We can assess your member records, tiers, access dates and billing setup and propose a migration plan. Member imports do not automatically transfer payment credentials or recurring billing contracts. Any customer steps and cutover requirements are agreed before migration.
How much does an enterprise project cost?
Enterprise pricing is custom. We agree on deliverables and an implementation quote after reviewing your requirements. Custom development and ongoing support are scoped separately, with any continuing service terms set out in the proposal.
Tell us what your membership program needs
Share your store URL, the systems you use and the experience you want members to have. We will review the fit and discuss the next steps.
